Spirituality and Business Do Mix

Yes, spirituality and business do mix!

I get so frustrated when I hear people say that spirituality and business are mutually exclusive – that they don’t mix. I hear it in one form or another quite often. And I couldn’t disagree more!

Not only are spirituality and business not mutually exclusive, your spirituality – in particular your Inner Guidance – is key to creating your business success!

Practical business strategy has its place. It is necessary in order to be successful. But there has to be a balance.

Have you ever had that aching gnawing feeling in your belly but ignored it, and then later you really wished you followed your instinct?

It might have been because you followed someone else’s advice and didn’t listen to your Inner Guidance.

In any given day, you may have to make multiple decisions that make a huge impact on how many clients you attract, how much money you make, and how many lives you will impact.

How do you know when to listen to the practical advice and when to listen to your Inner Guidance? What I’ve found is that it’s impossible to separate the two and succeed.

If you’re thinking maybe this might work for others but it isn’t possible for you to have direct access to your own Inner Guidance, I am here to tell you, not only can you, you were meant to.

I’ve helped hundreds of clients from all walks of life learn how to tap into their own Inner Guidance – from the typical clients, you’d expect like coaches, healers, holistic practitioners, speakers, and authors – to actors, nurses, therapists, attorneys. Heck, even retired military personnel and an 18-wheeler truck driver!

Believe me, if they can do it, you can access your Guidance too.

Spirituality and Business Do Mix

  • First, accessing your Inner Guidance is straightforward. The real work is releasing doubt and getting out of the way of what is trying to move through you.
  • Second, it’s natural. Your Guidance and your ability to access it has always been with you. You just need to know how to tap into it (and learn how to trust it).
  • Finally, it’s permanent. Once you learn how to connect and channel your own Guidance, you’ll always have access to the divine wisdom, creativity and support you need – unless you stop asking or choose not to receive it.

So how do you access your Inner Guidance?

The Foundation 15 Meditation Process

The Foundation 15 is a simple meditation process where you spend 15 minutes a day in quiet. Unlike other types of meditation, there is only one intention for this meditation.

And that is to quiet your mind and your energy enough that in a short period of time, you literally become an open channel through which your Guidance flows.

It is foundational to everything else you do to access and strengthen your Guidance…which is why it’s called the Foundation 15! And this is something you can start doing today.

  • Find a time every day where you can spend 15 minutes uninterrupted and focus on releasing thought. Don’t worry if you don’t actually find yourself without thought for 15 minutes, just don’t get into resistance when you notice thoughts coming in. This is really important: JUST OBSERVE.
  • When a thought comes in, simply envision it floating off on a cloud and get quiet again.
  • Pay attention to your breath. I’ll give you a little secret here. Actually pay attention to the moment between your exhale and the next inhale rather than the breath itself.

I have found that it’s easy to be in the gap of pure awareness – the point of no thought – right at the point between each breath.

You may not even notice that you are in “no thought” at that moment between your exhale and the next inhale, but in that split second, you are and THAT is exactly what you want.

At the end of your 15 minutes, if you only found 1-2 seconds of quiet that you were aware of during that time, know that you’ve done your work.

If you can, find a time where you are not rushing off to something immediately after your meditation. If you can do it at the same time each day, even better.

The most important thing is to JUST DO IT!

When you do, be on the lookout for inspiration and synchronicities to start showing up in your life…

Let me know how you go!
